HIATUS
You will be expected to meet AC once you have come off a hiatus, even if it is an AC-free month. If you know you won't be able to partake in the game and need a hiatus, please fill out the following form:
Canon Updates
If you have a canon update to make, please fill out the following form. This can be an update to an old canon point, a new canon point, to accommodate new canon information, or updating a character with new CRAU memories from another game. We will consider any canon update forms as the most up-to-date version of your character.
Please fill out an individual form for individual characters being updated. Do not update multiple characters with one form.
You cannot update characters to a completely canon-AU version of themselves. That would require a new application for a new character.
What Happens to Your Character
You have two options for what happens to your character's physical body while they are undergoing these processes:
Option One: You can choose to have your character go about their regular business about Trench.
Option Two: *2nd option for hiatus. Only option for canon updates.
Characters fall into a deep comatose sleep wherein their bodies are covered with a slick, gray mucus membrane. This is known as the Sleeper Membrane. Dozens of small eyes can be found in this membrane, constantly watching whoever may approach. If a character is attacked while in the membrane, a fleshy, bloodied tentacle lashes out and crushes whatever is attacking them. The membrane is completely indestructible and can withstand extreme temperatures. This membrane also heals and provides nutrients to the Sleeper within.
When a character wakes up, the membrane will begin to dry out and either the character or a buddy will have to help peel it away. Kinda gross, but you'll wake up feeling like you just got the best facial of your life. And it smells surprisingly nice!
This membrane can actually be dried and stored. You can eat it, use it as salves, and anyone who uses it for such reasons will find that it's high in nutrients and provides substantial energy. It can also help heal minor wounds! Neat! Kinda disgusting, but neat! It tastes and smells like salted caramel. You may even be able to sell it as the Sleeper Membrane is considered a luxury item! The Sleeper Membrane cannot currently be replicated - not even by the smartest Architects. But who knows? Maybe one day more mysteries will be solved about this curious organism...But we do know that the Sleeper's DNA can be found all throughout the membrane, meaning that the membrane definitely comes from the actual Sleeper it is covering.
For Canon Updates: If your character has a change in appearance/age/gender/abilities/scars/etc then this membrane will help accomplish that change. They can wake up out of their membrane sleep in their newly updated bodies. Any fatal injuries will have been healed by the time they are brought back to Deer Country. You do not need to update a character's looks to match their current canon point but it is encouraged.

Sometimes real life might come up and you might need to take a hiatus or drop from the game entirely. Or maybe you just haven't clicked with the game. Either way, we understand! Please use this page to let us know.
